Feast Thailand Newsletter
Welcome to our Feast Thailand (FT) Monthly Newsletter.
The festive season is well underway in most parts of the world, but here in Thailand it’s now officially ‘high season‘. We will be running tours right across the festive period, just as we did on Christmas Day, as being a Buddhist country, Christmas has no real relevance here.
Everything is pretty much back to normal here in Thailand after the passing of the King, which so saddened the nation. The New Year celebrations may be a bit more subdued, but no doubt everyone will be wishing for a prosperous new year ahead.
Here at Feast Thailand, we wish you all the best for 2017 and we also hope that you will enjoy our newsletter and find it informative, introducing you to new things that are happening in Thailand with a focus on Hua Hin, naturally. Every month, we will send you our newsletter covering all things Thai, with a big focus on what we love…..Thai food.
Being in Thailand in December is quite different, as I have never travelled here at this time of year. I must say that the weather is absolutely beautiful here in Hua Hin right now, with cool sea breezes and minimums in the mid 20s most days. It makes it an ideal time to visit, albeit that a lot of other people think the same way.
It is also in December that we have started a relationship with both Agoda and Booking.com. If you are planning on booking through either of these sites for your travel any where in the world, including Thailand of course, we would love it if you would utilise the booking apps on our website and in this newsletter. The price to you remains exactly the same, however we do receive a small commission for your booking and also cement our relationships with these 2 stellar booking companies. Thank you in advance!
Since the last newsletter, we have been busy designing, testing and now rolling out another tour, with a fourth in the pipeline for later this month.
The newly released tour is our ‘Jing Jing’ Tour, which embraces the addictive flavours of chilli and its relationship, some would say marriage, to Thai food.
The tour still in the pipeline and due for release just after Christmas is our 4 Corners of Thailand: A Food Sensation Tour. This will feature dishes from all 4 of the culinary regions of Thailand, as well as Royal Thai Cuisine. This tour is perfect for people wanting to experience the many and varied flavours of the 4 regions of Thailand. The food is absolutely delicious…Aroy!
I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and may you have a Happy and Safe 2017!
Chok Dii!!! (Cheers)
