Welcome to our Feast Thailand (FT) Monthly Newsletter.
Hello yet again from sunny and hot Thailand and apologies for the delay in this month’s newsletter! September will be back on track.
This month you will see that Feast Thailand is focusing on offering new and exciting tours to travellers in Hua Hin. I truly love this city and want to encourage people to travel here and experience what Hua Hin has to offer.
My husband and I had been travelling to Hua Hin for years prior to living here and we are finding new and exciting things to do all the time. Plus, we find new food venues offering great food that we want to pass on to travellers and expats in Hua Hin.
So the FT Tour Guide team have been working on tour itineraries focusing on Hua Hin sights and taking travellers to great places to eat whilst on the tour. Our tour guide Kate has come up with the name of these new tours…..Sight • SEE • eaT! Thanks Kate; it’s a great name!
Anyway, have a great rest of August wherever you are!
Until next month, it’s ‘Pop Gan Mai’ from me! See you later!
Chok Dii!!! (Cheers) from Leigh
General Manager – Feast Thailand
In July we launched our Private Tour option. Shortly we are about to launch our Sight • SEE • eaT option, which is a hybrid sightseeing and cultural tour, incorporating tasting delicious Thai food.
The tour will be launched over the next couple of weeks, so stay tuned.
Our food hero this month moves us north of the city to a magnificent waterfront restaurant in Hua Hin Soi 3. This month we shine a spotlight on Laciana By The Sea and see what makes them so popular……….
When you’re staying in Hua Hin and looking for a day of exploring, try visiting these three lookout areas to give you a different perspective on the area……….
FT Recipe of the Month Gaeng Hang Lae (แกงฮังเล)Chiang Mai Pork Curry
This curry comes from the north of Thailand, as the name suggest, and is sometimes called a Burmese curry; it was adopted by the northern Thai when they were under the rule of the Burmese from the 16th to 18th centuries……..
