Hi there & sawat dii kha! Welcome to our Feast Thailand (FT) Monthly Newsletter.
We have been enjoying the beautiful temperatures of Thailand at this time of year; so far, it has been fantastic. Such a great time to visit Thailand weather-wise, plus travel deals seem really good from just about anywhere in the world. Get some annual leave and jump on a plane!
This month we are continuing our focus on what is happening in and around Thailand and Hua Hin. The Thais certainly love to celebrate with New Year, Chinese New year and Thai New Year (Songkran) coming in April! Albeit that it has been a bit more subdued in the celebration stakes, there was still huge traditional celebrations for CNY. We have included some information about this in this month’s newsletter.
As always, we continue our focus on food and this month it’s about the Chinese influence on Thai food (article below).
I was also thrilled to be asked to write an article for Hua Hin Today, a local newspaper. The link to the piece is in the article below. It is entitled Street Food Shines in Hua Hin, focuses on the Street Food scene here in Hua Hin, as we know from experience that the street food you find here is world class. We get asked all the time from tour guests for the best vendors, but also the best places to dine out in general.
Enjoy the remainder of February and talk to you next month!
Chok Dii!!! (Cheers)
