What is Find-A-Feast?
We know your time is valuable; even when you're on holidays. Who wants to waste their time eating at places that you aren't sure about, or scrolling through sites online to find what you are looking for?
Find-A-Feast is about giving you a shortlist of eateries that Feast Thailand recommend and eat at regularly.
We don’t want you to be scrolling through Google to find places that you are not sure you will like, or are not sure where they are located.
Or websites that are listing restaurants that have paid to be shown as a “place to visit". Tripadvisor is a great source of information, but you are basing your decision on what other travellers think is good or indifferent.
Instead....trust the experts!
Why is there a cost?
Feast Thailand hosts the site for the app; there is a cost to that and restaurants are not paying us to be included in the app.
We are committed to spending the time each month to update the listings so that it’s up to date.
It allows us to try food all around town; food that you may want to try when you're in Hua Hin.
You can get restaurant information for free on TripAdvisor or Google, but sometimes places change or even close and are not updated on those sites. Reviews are often from travellers, not from people living here and eating the food every day.
We are trying new eateries all the time which other platforms will not know about. We are often trying dishes outside of what you may have normally tried before.
Why doesn't the app list ALL places?
Find-A-Feast is not a comprehensive list of ALL restaurants in and around Hua Hin.
We list only the places WE love and the ones we highly recommend.
If it is not listed in Find-A-Feast, it may be because we have not eaten there yet. It could also be because we have eaten there, but it did not meet our rigorous standards.
We also do not want to put in places that you can find easily on Trip Advisor.
We pride ourselves in knowing where the locals love to eat; these may not necessarily be where travellers are frequenting. We think the locals know the best food; we eat with locals every day.
Who is Feast Thailand?
Feast Thailand is about Thai Food Tours and Local Experiences in and around Hua Hin. We have been operating since 2016, led by our Australian GM, Leigh, and our amazing Thai foodie tour guides, Belle & Cream.
We are about supporting local businesses doing great food and we want you to experience what we enjoy; eating with the locals.
We want travellers to the area to see a side of Hua Hin that we love.
Why do a food tour?
We live in Hua Hin; we are not tourists, but we are specialists in finding the best food in and around Hua Hin.
We would always suggest you learn about Thai food by joining one of our many tours, where our guides will show you dishes that may well be new to you. We try not to do the dishes you are familiar with, but rather we promise to find your next favourite Thai dish.
You then will leave a Feast Thailand food tour with a confidence to try different Thai food, but also that you now trust that we know food. We do not take discounts from our vendors nor accept payments to include them on our tours and we always tip them upon leaving. This is how we roll.
